The power behind mFit
At a glimpse—she’s a down to earth, driven, passionate, traditional gal with big dreams and in pursuit to encourage and support others to be the best version of themselves. She is a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and certified Group Fitness Instructor from American Council on Exercise (ACE). She holds CPR/AED certification and is a trained Wellness Advisor and Women’s Fitness Specialist.
Her fitness journey did not start with lifting weights. She started as a dance instructor—say what?!? Yup! She enjoyed the shimmies, the jazz hands and the shaking her booty on the dance floor.
The thought of lifting weights was not at all on her mind a decade ago. Heck, she didn’t even imagine in her wildest dreams of becoming a fitness professional. So, what happened?
She was challenged, she was encouraged and she was supported to try something new despite all the insecurities and fear built up internally. She expanded her horizons and did not let fear take over. She pushed herself outside her comfort zone (continues to do so) because let’s face it—we are all thriving on being better human beings and living to our fullest potential.
MaryAnn, lives an active lifestyle with her husband, Brian, son, Lucas and daughter Daniella. She is a life-long learner. She references herself as a “sponge” to learning and self-improvement. On her down time, she loves to bake and spend time with her family and friends.
